Basic Life Securities:
Aimed at reducing risks, Bhuj Reconstruction Programme's (BRP) work concentrates on 4 key securities. These securities are the basic necessities, the building blocks, for achieving successful transitions from disaster to recovery.

Livelihood Security
Shelter Security
Water Security
Food Security

Capacity Building:
The BRP promotes individual recovery through sustainable community organisations in the slums of Bhuj. The community-generated, participatory nature of these organizations assists the slum inhabitants in their transition from recovery beneficiaries to rehabilitation partners.
